TinyTask

TinyTask records everything you do with your mouse and keyboard and plays it back exactly, on a loop. For games and automation tasks that need multi-step sequences rather than simple repeated clicks, TinyTask is the right tool.

How to Download TinyTask

  1. Go to tinytask.net and download the .exe file.
  2. Run the .exe. No installation is required.
  3. TinyTask appears as a tiny toolbar at the top or edge of your screen.

How to Record and Replay a Sequence

  1. Open the game or application and navigate to the starting position for your task.
  2. In TinyTask, click Record (or press Ctrl+Alt+R).
  3. Perform the full sequence: every click, movement, and key press will be recorded with exact timing.
  4. At the end of the sequence, return to the exact same starting position as step 1.
  5. In TinyTask, click Stop.
  6. Test the playback once manually (Ctrl+Alt+P) to verify it runs correctly.
  7. If correct, set TinyTask to Repeat and click Play. It will run the sequence on a loop.

Tips for Reliable Recordings

Timing is everything. The biggest point of failure is AFK fishing in Minecraft: if you record the reel-in click while the fish bite happens at 3.5 seconds after casting, but in actual play the bite arrives between 5 and 30 seconds, the recording will reel in too early or too late.

To handle variable wait times for fishing, record a long pause after casting: record the cast, wait at least 30 seconds doing nothing, then record the reel-in. This creates a recording where the wait is always long enough, at the cost of efficiency.

For crafting, farming, and Steam idle game sequences, ensure your starting position is identical each replay cycle. If the game renders at different frame rates or the player moves slightly, the recording may drift.

Using TinyTask for Steam Idle Games

For Steam idle games with complex reset or rebirth sequences (NGU Idle, Realm Grinder, Clicker Heroes resets), TinyTask records the full sequence of clicks and keypresses and replays them on demand. If your game has a 15-step rebirth or prestige sequence, record it once and replay it instead of manually clicking through every time. Unlike simple auto clickers, TinyTask captures every keypress, so it can navigate menus, type input values, and perform multi-window sequences.

Multiplayer Server Caution

TinyTask playback produces a recording of fixed inputs, including mouse movement paths. Anti-cheat systems on multiplayer servers can analyze mouse movement patterns and flag the perfectly looping movement paths that TinyTask produces. On servers with modern anti-cheat plugins (Grim, Spartan, NCP), TinyTask playback is more likely to be flagged than a simple click-interval auto clicker. Use TinyTask on single-player or lightly-monitored servers.

For simple interval clicking, OP Auto Clicker or GS Auto Clicker are faster to set up. For Minecraft-specific tools see best auto clicker for Minecraft. For Steam idle games see Steam auto clicker.
