Clickmate for Android

Record complex multi-step tap sequences and replay them on demand, no root required

Overview

Clickmate is a macro recorder and auto clicker for Android developed by InSCode. Where most auto clickers ask the user to manually place tap points on a grid, Clickmate starts by watching what the user actually does and recording every touch input faithfully, including taps on the navigation bar itself. That means back button presses, screenshot triggers, and menu navigation can all be part of a saved macro. For players running multi-step farming loops in idle games, or productivity users who repeat the same sequence of app actions dozens of times per day, Clickmate captures complexity that a simple fixed-point clicker cannot replicate.

The app also supports running multiple macros simultaneously and trigger-based execution, which fires a macro automatically when a defined condition is met, such as a specific app opening or a particular screen state appearing. This combination of recording depth and conditional execution makes Clickmate the right fit for anyone whose automation needs go beyond tapping one button in a loop. How to Download and Install

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
  2. Search for "Clickmate Auto Clicker" or navigate directly using the package name com.inscode.autoclicker.
  3. Tap Install on the Clickmate listing by InSCode.
  4. Wait for installation to finish, then tap Open.
  5. Allow any initial permissions the app requests on first launch before beginning setup.

Enabling Accessibility Permission

All no-root Android auto clickers use Android's Accessibility Service to simulate taps on other apps. This permission is required for the app to function.

  1. Open Settings on your Android device.
  2. Tap Accessibility.
  3. Under Downloaded Apps or Installed Services, find Clickmate.
  4. Tap the Clickmate entry and toggle the Accessibility Service On.
  5. Confirm the permission prompt that Android displays.
  6. Return to the Clickmate app. The floating panel should appear, indicating the service is active.
Tip:Battery optimization is the most common reason Clickmate macros stop mid-session. Set Clickmate to "Unrestricted" or "Don't Optimize" in your device's battery settings before running long sessions.

Configuration

  1. Open Clickmate and tap Record on the floating panel.
  2. Perform every tap, swipe, and navigation action you want the macro to capture. Clickmate records the full sequence including any navigation bar interactions.
  3. When the sequence is complete, tap Stop on the floating panel.
  4. Review the recorded macro in the macro list. Tap Play to test the replay immediately.
  5. Save the macro with a descriptive name so it can be reloaded later.
  6. For Manual Mode: open Clickmate and select Manual Mode, tap Add Point and tap the screen location to capture coordinates, set the tap interval in milliseconds, and repeat for each additional point.
  7. To set up triggers: open the macro you want to trigger automatically, tap Trigger Settings, select a trigger condition such as App Launch and specify the target app, then save.
  8. To run multiple macros simultaneously: enable each macro in the macro list by toggling it active, then start playback.

Troubleshooting

Macros stopping unexpectedly mid-session

Android battery optimization is the most common cause. Go to Settings, find Battery or Battery Optimization, locate Clickmate in the app list, and set it to Unrestricted or Don't Optimize. On Samsung devices, also check Device Care for additional sleep settings.

Trigger not firing when expected

Open the trigger settings for the macro and verify the condition is set correctly. Ensure Clickmate has Accessibility Service enabled and that battery optimization is disabled, as either can prevent trigger detection.

Screenshot recording not working

Screenshot recording within macros requires Android 9.0 or higher. If the device meets the Android 9+ requirement and recording still fails, check that Clickmate has been granted Media Projection permission, which Android prompts for separately from Accessibility.
